BLUE CHIP EXEC PRIVACY POLICY

Blue Chip Exec is firmly committed to the privacy of the Execs, Hiring Managers and Networkers registered on the Blue Chip Exec website (collectively, the "Members" and individually, a "Member").  If you have any questions or feedback regarding the Blue Chip Exec Privacy Policy, please contact us by email at help@BlueChipExec.com.

 

Overview

 

Blue Chip Exec is an online marketplace that connects Hiring Managers and Execs. 

 

When an individual becomes registered on the Blue Chip Exec website as an Exec, Hiring Manager or Networker, s/he is asked to provide certain information about him/herself for his/her member profile.  In the case of Execs, this information includes, but is not limited to, the individual's skills, experience, education level, compensation, work availability, region, self-evaluation, and member statistics.  In the case of Hiring Managers, this information includes, but is not limited to the individual's company, title , and division.  In the case of Networkers, this information includes, but is not limited to a description of the individual's profession and industry specialties.

 

Blue Chip Exec collects this information in order to provide optimum service and features that can meet the needs of Members, including but not limited to matching opportunities presented by Hiring Managers with relevant Execs. 

 

The contact information of Hiring Managers, Execs and Networkers will not be released to third parties without Blue Chip Exec's oversight and approval. In addition, Blue Chip Exec may disclose limited personal contact information to verified requests by law enforcement and government officials in criminal investigations and may require a subpoena for additional personal information.

 

Whether one completes and submits a Registration Form and thereby applies to become a Member is completely one's option.  

 

Disclosure of Name and Contact Details Between and Among Hiring Managers and Execs

 

Blue Chip Exec provides Hiring Managers with limited profile information about Execs when Hiring Managers search the Blue Chip Exec database.  When doing so, the profiles of relevant Execs will be displayed in search results without the Exec's name or contact information. BCE may, at its discretion, reveal selective names and backgrounds to hiring managers to help facilitate an introduction.  Members who do not want their names released even on a limited basis should request removal of their membership from the Blue Chip Exec site by emailing help@BlueChipExec.com.  

 

Policy of No Spam

 

Members can be assured that Blue Chip Exec will not send spam to its Members, yet will provide periodic updates and communications.   Blue Chip Exec reserves the right to collect, analyze and disclose usage data of its Members to third parties in a non-personally identifiable way for advertising, consulting, or other purposes.

 

Members are prohibited from sending spam to other Members.  If you are receiving spam from another Member, please report the issue to Blue Chip Exec at help@BlueChipExec.com. 

 

Disclosure

 

 

A Member who gains access to another Member's name and contact details in the course of using Blue Chip Exec shall strictly protect such information, and shall not disclose such information to a third party without first obtaining such Member's express consent. 

 

Blue Chip Exec will, from time to time, work with selective partners to provide members with topically relevant information and offers which are consistent with the services of Blue Chip Exec.

 

Registration

 

To become registered as a Member on the Blue Chip Exec website, one must first be invited to join by an existing Member and then complete and submit an online Registration Form and click the "I AGREE" checkbox on the Registration Form to agree to be bound by the Blue Chip Exec Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.  Blue Chip Exec reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone for any or no reason.

 

Invitations

 

When a Member wishes to invite another individual to join Blue Chip Exec, Blue Chip Exec will request the invitee's name and email address.  Blue Chip Exec may send the invitee an invitation via email whereupon Blue Chip Exec will disclose to the invitee the name of the inviting Member.

 

Blue Chip Exec may store and analyze the invitee's name and email address in order to monitor the success of Blue Chip Exec's referral program.

 

A Member will be able to access certain personal information of only Members within his referral network, including but not limited to names and fees generated.

 

Cookies

 

Cookies are text files that websites use to capture information about the users visiting their sites.

 

Blue Chip Exec uses cookies to recognize certain information including usage history, browser type, and IP address of its Members.  For example, after a Member has logged out of Blue Chip Exec, on his return visit, the Member's username will appear automatically at the login prompt so that the Member will only be required to enter his password to login.  To facilitate efficient and use of the Blue Chip Exec website, Members are required to enable use of cookies on their browsers' Internet options/preferences.

 

Should Blue Chip Exec allow third party vendors on the website, some of these vendors may use cookies. Blue Chip Exec will have no access to or control over these cookies.  Please read their privacy policies for more information, if applicable.

 

Log Files

 

Blue Chip Exec logs IP addresses for system administration purposes. This information is used to diagnose server problems, monitor traffic patterns, analyze trends, administer the website, track member user patterns, and identify the most popular areas of the website to deliver content most relevant to Members.

 

Links

 

Blue Chip Exec and the contents of Member profiles may contain links to other websites.  Please note that Blue Chip Exec does not control the privacy practices of such other websites and is therefore not responsible for other sites you may voluntarily visit.  Blue Chip Exec encourages Members to read the privacy policies of all websites. The Blue Chip Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Blue Chip Exec on the Blue Chip Exec website.

 

Security

 

Blue Chip Exec is serious about protecting the privacy of its Members.  Blue Chip Exec takes all reasonable precautions to protect Member privacy both on the Blue Chip Exec website and within the offices of Blue Chip Exec.  Servers used by Blue Chip Exec to store personally identifiable information are housed in a secure, supervised environment.  Employees at Blue Chip Exec are trained as to the Blue Chip Exec Privacy Policy and are not granted access to personally identifiable information about the Members unless such information is necessary in order to carry out specific work.  Blue Chip Exec's internal service providers may have access to information about the Members in order to facilitate Blue Chip Exec's services and operations under confidential restrictions.

 

Mandatory Communications

 

Blue Chip Exec sends all new Members a welcome email to verify their email addresses. At times, Blue Chip Exec may send service announcements to Members. 

 

In addition, Blue Chip Exec communicates with Members via personal emails or phone calls, as appropriate, to handle inquiries or provide requested services.  Members cannot unsubscribe from service announcements that discuss upcoming changes that affect their accounts at Blue Chip Exec.

 

Account Deactivation

 

Any person may contact Blue Chip Exec to request cancellation of account access in our Blue Chip Exec's data bases.  For such request, please email Blue Chip Exec at help@BlueChipExec.com and allow a reasonable time for the deactivation to become effective.

 

After deactivation, the deactivated Member's personal information will be available only to select Blue Chip Exec personnel for administrative, accounting or legal purposes, including but not limited to fraud prevention, fee collections, dispute resolution, problem troubleshooting, investigation assistance, and compliance with applicable laws, court orders and legal requests.  Accordingly, Blue Chip Exec may still need to contact you by phone, mail or email even after you have deactivated your account.

 

 

Correction/Updating Personal Information

 

Members may correct and update their personal data entered on Blue Chip Exec at any time by accessing the "Update Profile" section under "My Account."

 

A Member who desires to opt-out of our service may deactivate his/her account at any time.  After deactivation, the deactivated member's personal information will be available only to select Blue Chip Exec personnel for administrative and legal purposes, including but not limited to fraud prevention, fee collections, dispute resolution, problem troubleshooting, investigation assistance, and compliance with applicable laws, court orders and legal requests.

 

Notification of Changes

 

If Blue Chip Exec updates the Blue Chip Exec Privacy Policy, such updates will be posted on the Blue Chip Exec website, and Blue Chip Exec may also send an email to the Members regarding such updates. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information we have about you and your account. Unless otherwise provided, the revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Once any changes that we make to this Privacy Policy become effective, your continued use of the Site after such time will signify you acceptance of the new terms.

 

Forums outside of Blue Chip Exec

 

Blue Chip Exec accepts no responsibility regarding the Member's disclosure of information to individuals or companies on systems that are outside the Blue Chip Exec website.
