Blue Chip Expert (BCE) values its relationship with each of our Experts, Hiring Managers, and Networkers (collectively our Members) and others using BCE Web sites and services. Protecting the privacy of your information is of the greatest importance to us. The following provides details of our practices and procedures for protecting the security of your nonpublic, personally identifiable information.
Whether you are a current, former, or potential Member, BCE treats your personal information with the same high level of confidentiality and security.
We never sell your personal information.
We only share your personal information as necessary to provide the services you have requested, to contact you about BCE’s services, as directed by you, or as permitted by law.
You Don’t Need to “Opt–Out” Some companies allow access to your nonpublic, personal information by nonaffiliated third parties so they can market their products and services to you. Several laws give you the option of “opting–out” of this type of information sharing. However, at BCE we do not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties for their marketing purposes, unless you specifically direct us to do so. Therefore, at BCE, you don’t need to “Opt–Out”.
The Information We Collect At BCE, we gather information to provide you BCE services, offer you additional products and services that we think may be of interest to you, and as directed by you with your consent. Some of this may be nonpublic, personal information (information not available to the general public) that is provided by you, that we gather from transactions and communications with you, that we collect through services performed for you, that we obtain from third parties, or that we obtain through other means.
Information We Collect From You: This includes information you provide us when you register on our site and/or request our services, either on the Internet, by phone or by other means. It can include information such as your name, contact information, employment and educational experience, and BCE Web pages visited.
Information We Collect From Third Parties: This includes information we may collect from third parties to verify the information you have provided to us and to provide our services to you.
Information About Your BCE Activity: This includes information about your activity with us and others, such as BCE’s other Members (including Hiring Managers and Experts) and third parties such as our fulfillment partners. It includes information such as your search activity on the BCE Web sites, hours worked by Experts, referrals made by Networkers, and amounts paid to Experts by Hiring Companies.
Information About Communications: This includes information about your communications with BCE such as emails, telephone calls, letters, and other communications. Information collected may include when communications were sent, received, and accessed.
Information Collected Through the BCE Web Site: You can browse our Web site anonymously and find information about BCE and our services. BCE collects general information about Web site visits as part of our business tracking. This information does not identify you personally, and is used to enhance your Web site experience. This includes information such as how you linked to our Web site, Internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, and time of visit.
BCE may use technology that includes pixels and cookies on our Web site to support site tracking, measure site performance, and for marketing our services. Our site places a cookie on your computer to identify you when you return, to personalize aspects of your experience at our site, and to better understand how visitors are using our site, all of which helps us to continually improve your experience on our site. These cookies will not damage your computer. Your browser must be set to accept cookies in order to navigate the BCE site.
Information We Disclose Information about our Members, former Members, and those who do not become Members will be disclosed only as permitted or required by law, or as directed by the Member or consumer.
We may disclose information to affiliated, nonaffiliated and government entities as required by law. We may also disclose information to nonaffiliated third parties that perform services or functions on our behalf including the marketing of our services. The following are examples of situations in which we may disclose information:
Your information may be passed between us, Members, perspective Members, and others who may be involved in the sales, marketing, fulfillment, and servicing of BCE services. A Member will be able to access limited information of the other Members within his/her referral network, including but not limited to names and fees generated.
We may supply information as required by search warrant, subpoena, or legal process, with law enforcement or other government authorities when required by law, or to protect our own legal interests in the event of suspected illegal or fraudulent activities.
BCE reserves the right to collect and analyze aggregate non personally–identifiable BCE usage data for lawful reasons. This includes providing this information to third parties.
BCE Communications As a BCE Member, BCE will contact you as needed by email, phone or otherwise to provide our services. This includes communications such as billing notices, confirmations of changes to your information or status, changes to our services, and other BCE–specific communications. You may NOT unsubscribe from these BCE–specific communications that relate to your primary usage of our services; and you agree to receive these as a BCE Member.
From time to time, BCE may contact you about third–party promotions. In addition, prior to becoming a Member or after canceling your Membership, BCE may contact you to confirm your information or invite you to become or return as a Member. You will have the ability to unsubscribe from these communications.
Members are prohibited from sending spam to other Members. If you are receiving spam from another Member, please report the issue to Blue Chip Expert at abuse@bluechipexpert.com.
Confidential and Secure Environment Servers used by Blue Chip Expert to store personally identifiable information are housed in a secure, supervised environment. Employees at Blue Chip Expert are trained as to the Blue Chip Expert Privacy Policy and are not granted access to personally identifiable information about the Members unless such information is necessary in order to carry out specific work. Blue Chip Expert’s non’affiliated service providers may have access to Member information in order to facilitate Blue Chip Expert’s services and operations under confidentiality restrictions.
Links to Other Entities on the BCE Web Site The BCE Web site contains links to other sites offering valuable information and services. If you choose to provide any personal information directly to any of these entities, the collection and disclosure of your personal information by that entity will be governed solely by that entity’s privacy policy. BCE makes no representations or warranties regarding these sites.
Disclosure to Entities Other Than Blue Chip Expert Blue Chip Expert accepts no responsibility regarding your disclosure of information to individuals or companies other than Blue Chip Expert.
Reviewing or Correcting Your Information As a Member, you can always review and update your information by accessing the “Update Profile” section under “My Account” on our Web site at www.bluechipexpert.com.
Notification of Changes If BCE updates the Blue Chip Expert Privacy Policy, such updates will be posted on the Blue Chip Expert website. Unless stated otherwise, our then current Privacy Policy applies from the date of that Privacy Policy onward to all information we have about you and your account. Unless otherwise provided, the revised terms of the Privacy Policy will take effect when they are posted. Once any changes that BCE makes to its Privacy Policy become effective, your continued use of the Site after such time will signify your acceptance of such new terms.
